Also, I want to make a special note here about a fourth tip I didn't mention in the video. And this is the number one most essential key to ALL good food photos... you've probably heard it from me before...

...use natural lighting. 

 

Believe me, this is the number one key to getting those meals to look good. I guarantee you that, no matter how well you frame or display your meals... your food photos will not look good or appetizing if you're using tungsten lighting, lamp light, or anything other than natural daylight. So set up near a window and get to it!
